The purpose of this resource is to test your student’s ability to understand and appreciate the principles of Ancient Athens and the Iroquois Confederacy and how it had an impact on the democratic principles on which the government of Canada is based. Apply ideas and strategies to contribute to decision making and problem solving. 8. Consider multiple perspectives when dealing with issues, decision making and problem solving. 9. Generate alternate solutions to problems using technology. 10. Work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal. 11. Draw and support conclusions based on information gathered from the Internet and other sources. 12. Organize information through selecting and recording data in a logical manner. 13. Detect bias present in the media. 14. Verify to determine accuracy and relevance of information gathered.
